SECCA [see-kuh] abbr Southeast Coalition for Contemporary Artists

(noun) a nonprofit branch of Hollingsworth Gallery dedicated to the growth and cultivation of the arts in the Palm Coast community and beyond.


   SECCA Tree: A rare perennial tree highly sought after for it’s colorful 

   leaves. If nurtured and given space the SECCA Tree can grow into an energetic, 

   robust haven for curious birds.

  

*Natives believe that by climbing onto the branches inspiration will be bestowed upon them.


Call for Artists
We are looking for cutting edge, evolved, original art. All shows are juried and open to all mediums. 

Deadline for Submissions: 
Ongoing; work will be selected on the 6th of each month

Opening Receptions will coincide with receptions at Hollingsworth on the second Saturday of each month from 6 - 9 PM.
Artists wanting to exhibit in SECCA Tree Studios:
Fee - $35 per artwork per month
Gallery commission - 15% with 85% of sales going to the artist.
Artists carry own insurance - Gallery has its own liability insurance.
Selected art should be dropped off between 12 pm and 6 pm on the 6th each month.
Art should then be picked up between 12 pm and 6 pm on the 6th of the following month. If the 6th falls on a weekend the drop off / pick up day will be on the following Monday. There will be a grace period of 5 days to pick up artwork, after that the fee will be $10 a day unless arrangements have been made via email at mccartneym@hollingsworthgallery.com. 

Gallery curator will hang work with all necessary “ID” information provided by the artist.

Advertising provided by the gallery via an established network with additional invitations available to the artist.

All 2D work must be wired and ready for hanging.

All 3D work must be self supporting; a limited number of pedestals will be available on a first come basis; sculptors are encouraged to provide simple pedestals for their special needs.

Framing - simple frames either wood or metal - colors may be black, white, or natural - no gold. Gallery wrap canvas is preferred. Only white mats will be accepted - no glass - acrylic only.

Should any artist need frames constructed, call the gallery for a quote (this service is less expensive than frame shops).

Artwork may be submitted for preview/acceptance via email (images no larger than 5”x6” @ 200 dpi); save as a .jpg format; send to the following email address: submissions@hollingsworthgallery.com Please put “art submission” on subject line.
